Spotlight: Remembering Ernie Pyle

On the 80th anniversary of his death, war correspondent Ernie Pyle was honored by relatives and friends at Ie Shima, Okinawa, where an obelisk stands near where he died on April 18, 1945. He was also honored on Friday at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu, where he was reburied in 1949, in a ceremony hosted by the Ernie Pyle Legacy Foundation.
